Kaylen Wilson's travel through time.

I'm 23, a senior in college, and I love God. 6 feet tall. Photography is my hobby. Future social worker. I work with refugees.

Favorite verse:
"The man answered,'You must love your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" - Luke 10:27

I love God.

I’m awesome.

I’m an only child.

I’m 6’0” tall. No I don’t play basketball.

I’m from Florida. I lived there until I was 20 and then I moved up to Tennessee. (kind of a long story, but if you wanna know, i can explain it) I still have a bajillion friends in Florida and I miss them all so very much.

I have a second family, my best friend’s family, “The Ferrells.” I lived with them for about two years and they mean the world to me.

I love cats in general, but I REALLY love my cat Rae.

I come from a tech family. My mom is the IT Director for an office supply chain and my dad is a computer mechanic/Mr. Fix-It for the same company. It is not uncommon for our kitchen table to be taken up by three laptops and a netbook.

I love music of all types. When I’m at home, I’ll listen to anything from Maximo Park and Vampire Weekend to City and Colour and Iron & Wine. In the car, I either listen to the local Christian radio station (Way FM baby!!!) OR hip hop/rap.

I want to become a social worker. I have a passion for helping people and I feel like social work is the perfect job for that.

God has given me many talents in the creative realm. I draw, write, paint, play piano and guitar. Oh and I do photography too. I truly hope one day God will use me with these gifts. I’d love to do some sort of creative activism like what you see with http://www.worldvisionacts.org/

I’m a member of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and I’m determined to start a chapter at my school, MTSU.

I went to Mexico this past summer (‘10) for the first time (I actually went with InterVarsity). It was my first mission trip and I loved it. We spent time working with and learning about Mexico City’s poor. We worked closely with an organization called Armonia Ministries. I love, love, love what they do there. I learned so much and I really hope that I can go back some day (maybe even on some sort of internship deal).
