I can’t get over how amazing today/yesterday was.
My mom got the day off of work: she totally deserved it.
Slept in: like a boss.
Got ready relatively quickly: eh.
Only showed up 15 minutes late to the party: heck yeah.
Tossed around the frisbee: fun times.
Sweat: like it was my job.
Learned how to play “hillbilly golf” (is that it’s official name?): and I won 2 out of the 3 games I played.
Had around 8 or 9 Arnold Palmers: because they’re the best.
Swung around in a hammock chair for a bit: felt like a little kid again.
Had a nice, serious talk amongst friends about relationships and singleness: felt mature.
Had a nice, serious talk amongst friends about relationships and singleness while swinging in the hammock chair: felt like a mature little kid.
Smashed a cookie with icing and sprinkles on it into Jeff’s mustache: took a photo.
Solved a riddle while waiting to carpool over to the fireworks: because my friends and I like to ponder every now and then.
Got to look at my crush for long amounts of time under the pretense that I was thinking hard about the riddle he told us: haHA! Oh crap I think that makes me a creeper…
Got to see all of my core four today: except for Cari :(. But we texted for a bit and that made it seem not so bad.
Got to witness a gorgeous sunset on the way to see fireworks: thank you Lord for such beauty.
Laughed my butt off while playing more frisbee on the Lawn while waiting for the fireworks to start: Seriously! An adorable little girl tried to steal our frisbee. lol!
Got to hang out with my Tuesday night group (Kairos) AND my Thursday night group (Inversion) at the same time: It was like two worlds colliding! But awesome and not tragic at all!
Watched my friends swing dance in the middle of a crowded area without caring that people were watching them: makes me love them so much more.
Saw the fireworks display in downtown Nashville while listening to the Nashville Symphony play great music: ballin’!
Shoveled leftover party food into my mouth as soon as we got back to my friend’s house: like a beast.
Got to talk to my best friend on the phone: finally.
*Le sigh.* What a wonderful day. :)
